A Massachusetts woman was rescued Friday after she fell while hiking on Tumbledown Mountain.
Donna Hobart, 84, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was hiking with a friend up Parker Ridge Trail on the mountain in Weld about 3:45 p.m. when she fell and suffered a head injury, according to Game Warden Lt. Kris Barboza.
First responders hiked to where Hobart fell to access her injuries and determined she could walk out with assistance, Barboza said Saturday morning.
Game wardens, first responders and a search-and-rescue volunteer helped Hobart down to a warden service ATV that took her the rest of the way to the trailhead.
No additional information was immediately available.
