It’s often difficult these days to feel really good about members of state and federal legislatures. Too much politicking. Too much ego on display. Too little actual work getting done. Too little attention to the problems citizens face.
Thank goodness that we have Nicole Grohoski as our state senator. In her previous terms in the Maine House and Senate, she has demonstrated determination and creativity in coming up with solutions to the real and serious problems facing our state and our communities, particularly where energy and the environment are concerned.
In the times I have interacted with Nicole, I have found her very accessible and very responsive. She works to get truly important things done for her constituents without damaging her integrity.
I believe Grohoski epitomizes many of the special qualities of Mainers — hardworking, interested in helping those around her, practical and determined to protect our wonderful environment. We’re lucky to have her representing District 7 in the state Senate. Let’s all vote to keep her there.
