A driver crashed into the storefront of a Bangor cafe on Tuesday afternoon damaging the building but causing no injuries, according to Bangor police.
Police and firefighters were called to Vibes Cafe at 663 Hogan Road just after 3 p.m. for the report of the crash.
The driver, who has not been identified, told police they believed the car suffered a mechanical problem, Bangor police Sgt. Jason McAmbley said in a news release. Police are investigating, he said.
The driver was reportedly uninjured. Police have not pressed charges at this time and the costs of the damage to the building and the car were not immediately available, McAmbley said.
