Waldo County is fortunate to have an outstanding candidate running for the Maine state Senate who is experienced, level headed, and responsive. As a former state legislator, I know that Robert Meyer’s impressive track record will make him ready on day one as an effective leader for the people of Waldo County.
Bob is one of us, living in Searsport with his wife, Cathy, who have three children and eight grandchildren. He is a retired U.S. Air Force officer and KC-135 pilot having proudly served our country for 23 years. He is a combat veteran with deployments to the Middle East. Bob has led and commanded flight squadrons in both peace and wartime. Thank you, Bob, for your service!
After his military service, Bob and Cathy retired to Maine in 2005 where Bob began a second career in education. Today, he is the principal for the Holden Middle School. Bob has the right life experience to serve us well and make a difference in the Maine Legislature — focusing on the needs of local families, small businesses, and our communities.
Bob wants to move Waldo County and Maine forward in a new direction. Please join me in voting for Robert Meyer for Maine Senate on Nov. 5!
