Police apprehended a man who is accused of crashing a stolen truck then eluding police for much of the afternoon on Thursday.
Garrett Littlefield, 33, was found by police and taken into custody sometime before 7:25 p.m., Thursday, in the Cumberland County town of Bridgton, according to Maine State Police.
Littlefield, who is from the York County town of Alfred, had last been seen around 1 p.m. after allegedly crashing a blue 2014 Ford F-150 on Route 121, near Hemlock Lane, in Casco near the Raymond town line. Police believe the truck was stolen.
There were multiple felony warrants out for Littlefield’s arrest, according to police.
After he was apprehended, Littlefield was brought to a local hospital for evaluation. He will then be transported to the Cumberland County Jail, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said in a news release.
