A man is dead after an early Tuesday morning shooting in Waterville.
The shooting happened about 6:30 a.m. on Highwood Street, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The shooting left a man dead. His identity hasn’t been released, pending notification of next of kin.
Moss said there’s no danger to the public.
The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information was immediately available.
