Gwyneth Paltrow and Timothée Chalamet locked lips on the set of their upcoming film, Marty Supreme.
While filming a scene for the movie, Paltrow, 52, and Chalamet, 28, were spotted sharing a kiss in New York City’s Central Park on Wednesday, October 16. In the images, the duo wore their costumes as Paltrow was pressed up against the wall of an alleyway and had her arms placed on Chalamet’s shoulders. Chalamet, for his part, wrapped his arms around Paltrow’s waist.
Chalamet rocked a gray suit over a white shirt and black shoes, pairing the look with glasses and a gray silver tie with a necklace. His hair was styled with gel into a side-part.
Paltrow, for her part, donned a long red gown with black gloves and silver earrings with her blonde hair worn in an updo.
News broke in August that Paltrow would make her return to acting with Marty Supreme. (Paltrow last appeared on the big screen in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, playing the role of Pepper Potts from the Iron Man franchise.)
One month before Paltrow’s casting was announced, it was revealed that Chalamet would star and produce the film. Variety reported at the time that the movie was inspired by professional ping pong player Marty Reisman. (The outlet noted that sources close to the film claimed that Marty Supreme was a fictionalized story.)

Marty Supreme is directed by Josh Safdie and written by both Safdie and Ronald Bronstein. “Josh Safdie’s MARTY SUPREME starring @RealChalamet. Coming soon,” A24 wrote via social media in July.
The table tennis champion died in 2012 at age 82. His death was shared by Table Tennis Nation, an organization Reisman founded. Former chief operating officer Cooper Fallek said at the time that Reisman’s death was caused by complications of heart and lung ailments, per The New York Times.
Chalamet and Paltrow star in the film alongside Tyler, the Creator, Odessa A’zion, Penn Jillette, Kevin O’Leary, Fran Drescher and Abel Ferrara, per Variety.
Timothee Chalamet Through the Years: From Theater Kid to Critical Darling
Details regarding the plot of Marty Supreme have yet to be revealed. However, The Hollywood Reporter visited the New York set and found that the movie is actually slated to take place in mid-century Paris.
“We’re shooting in three different places around the city and one on Long Island to establish this as 1950s Paris,” Jake Gouverneur, vice president of Octane Film Cars, told the outlet earlier this month. “The cars sell the location.”
He continued, “The brief here was ‘1950s France. What would work?’”
A release date for Marty Supreme has yet to be announced.
