VIP honors the employee who, above all others, lives the VIP culture, serves others, and is a high performer.
AUBURN — VIP Tires & Service is proud to name Patricia Williams, VIP’s assistant controller, as the 2024 recipient of their Presidential Award. This award is given to the employee who personifies the VIP culture, is dedicated to serving others and is a high performer behind the scenes. This announcement was made during VIP’s annual managers conference held at the Samoset Resort in Rockport at the end of August.
Williams started at VIP in 2004 as a sales auditor, working her way up through positions including sales audit supervisor, sales audit manager, and accounting manager before becoming assistant controller. In her current role, Williams tends to the day-to-day financials of VIP, along with coordination and execution of end of month closing. Throughout her time with VIP, Williams has worked at the company’s support center based in Auburn.
Since starting at VIP, Williams has earned an associate’s degree in paralegal studies and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kaplan University. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with family, going on walks with her dogs, and exploring the great state of Maine.
“We are incredibly proud to honor Patricia Williams as the recipient of the 2024 VIP Presidential Award,” said Tim Winkeler, president and CEO of VIP. “Patricia exemplifies everything we value at VIP – hard work, dedication and a commitment to serving others. Over her 20 years with the company, she has consistently been a behind-the-scenes powerhouse, helping to drive our success while embodying the VIP culture. This recognition is well deserved, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate her achievements.
