This election offers a clear choice: A world of hope or a world of hurt.
I will vote for Harris/Walz to vote for a world of hope. I hope you will too.
We need hope for a more just society — one where immigrants are welcomed for the positive contributions they make to our communities; where senior citizens are treated with dignity and fairness; where all children can have enough to eat, a good education, and a future free from gun violence.
I believe a vote for Trump/Vance would be a vote for a world of hurt.
I think the hurt from this choice will include outrageously cruel actions toward new Mainers who have come to us seeking a better life. I think the hurt will include harming senior citizens by placing their Social Security and Medicare benefits in jeopardy. I think the hurt will include harm to children by policies that will pull more struggling families below the poverty line. And this is just a beginning list.
Please make your vote count towards bringing about a more hope filled world for all. Vote for Harris/Walz in this election.
With deep respect for all who will choose to vote in this election, I am sincerely yours.
