Travis Kelce has a few ideas for how fans can take their relationships to new heights.
During a bonus episode of his and Jason Kelce‘s “New Heights” podcast released via Wondery+ on Thursday, October 31, listeners called in to a special hotline with questions about keeping the momentum going in early dating — and how to spice things up in the bedroom.
One fan, a man in his mid-50s, confessed that he was “going through a spell” of his wife not being “interested in sex whatsoever.” The caller insisted that he was “not one to cheat” and “never” has been, but he was unsure how to work through the rough patch.
“I will personally mention that I have no idea what that’s [like],” Travis, 35, began.

Jason, 36, agreed that the question was a “hard one” to tackle before Travis suggested upping the romance factor. “Maybe just try to get some candles, get some rose petals, try and be a little romantic,” the tight end said. “Maybe you just gotta rekindle that flame or something, get that thing going. Take her to a nice restaurant. These are all things that I would try and do just based off what I heard. That’s tough, man.”
For Jason, it’s all about the long game. “Start setting that thing up early. Women, they’re weird. They don’t just always want to have sex,” he joked. “I don’t know why, they don’t operate on the same wavelength as us. … Women like to be sought after.”
The retired athlete also noted that “acts of service” or other thoughtful gestures might help set the mood — but so could a pair of tight pants. “Sometimes they just want to see the goods,” he said, teasing, “I don’t know what you’ve been blessed with.”
It didn’t take long for the conversation to go off the rails. Travis laughed off Jason’s suggestion to watch a movie starring your partner’s celebrity crush. (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was quickly used as an example — unclear whether Jason was speaking from personal experience with wife Kylie Kelce.)
“Try role play one night, you know, see if she’s up for that,” Travis said. “Go to Spencer’s and get some f—ing sex stuff, man, I don’t know.”
Another caller asked for the cohosts’ perspective on reaching milestones when newly dating, wondering, “How do you know that a relationship is solid … and why is that moment when you first fart in front of each other?”
The second half of the question threw both Jason and Travis for a loop at first, but Jason had the perfect answer. “I farted in front of Kylie on the third date we ever had,” he said. (The couple have been married since 2018 and share three daughters.)

Farts aside, Travis shared his own two cents on when a relationship starts to feel more serious. “I feel like [it’s] when you know someone’s life,” he said. “When you see someone’s day-to-day and you can understand that, and you get into a routine of being with that person or talking to that person about their daily routines consistently. You naturally just feel the genuine connection.”
Jason theorized that getting an “ultimatum” is the easiest way to know when a relationship has turned the corner, making Travis laugh. “I feel like … if you really are into someone like that, you naturally take that next step,” Travis continued. “Or you have the desire to get to that next step faster.”
The Kansas City Chiefs star has taken some big steps in his own relationship with Taylor Swift, who he began dating last summer. The couple have supported one another through major achievements — from his 2024 Super Bowl win to her record-breaking Eras Tour — and have bonded with each other’s inner circles.
“Family is a good [sign],” Travis added on Thursday. “When you get introduced, that’s huge. That’s a next step kind of thing, for sure.”
