Central Street Farmhouse will be closing by the end of November.
The store in downtown Bangor offered do-it-yourself fermentation supplies, as well as numerous other homesteading resources and educational classes since 2010.
“I’ve tried and tried to make this work, but the reality of the situation is that the Farmhouse is ending. I will have more to post about later, but for now, know that CSF will be closed by the end of November,” owner Josh Parda said in a Facebook post on Saturday morning.
Parda provided few details on why the store will be closing its doors. He plans to sell the remaining stock, and will honor two wine bottling classes set for December.
Shelving, tables and other hardware will be sold by cash on a first-come, first-served basis, and will need to be transported by the buyer.
