FARMINGTON, Maine — An 82-year-old man is dead after being hit by a tractor-trailer in Farmington.
Robert Leso, of Chesterville, was struck on Main Street around 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Police said that the tractor trailer had stopped for a pedestrian in the sidewalk and started to drive again when it hit the Leso.
Leso reportedly entered the street from the passenger side of the truck. Officials believe that the truck driver did not see the man.
