Chris Evans is showing off a scruffier look.
Evans, 43, debuted longer locks and a shaggy beard at the premiere of his upcoming action comedy, Red One, in Berlin on Sunday, November 3.
The actor walked the red carpet looking rather academic in a chestnut brown corduroy suit and blue mock turtleneck. He accessorized the ensemble with glasses and brown loafers.
And on Wednesday, November 6, Evans showed up to a Red One photocall in London sporting a more casual blue denim jacket, black shirt and black pants with brown shoes and a gold pendant necklace. And again: Glasses.
Chris Evans Argues Some Superhero Movies ‘Deserve a Little More Credit’
Evans had previously appeared at a Comic-Con event in July with shorter hair and a trimmer beard. So far, his fans are liking his transformation.
“Chris Evans looks especially handsome at the Red One” event in the U.K., a fan wrote on Threads (Instagram’s version of X), while another gushed, “When all else fails, go see a Christmas movie with Chris Evans in it. Doesn’t fix anything but makes you forget that the world is EFFED UP for 90 minutes. also I had forgotten how hot Chris Evans is. ”
One Threads user posted a photo from Evans’ Berlin appearance and joked, “Just Chris Evans looking like a professor from an early 2000s rom-com.”
Red One hits theaters on Friday, November 15. Evans plays bounty hunter Jack O’Malley, who’s tapped by North Pole security chief Callum Drift (Dwayne Johnson) to help find Santa Claus (J.K. Simmons).

“[My character] is a bit of a rascal,” Evans exclusively told Us Weekly in August. “He’s on the naughty list, so he’s a real bad boy. But I had such a good time making that movie. And it’s intimidating, because I love Christmas and I love Christmas movies. You want every movie you make to be good — but making a bad Christmas movie would really be a bummer. Thank goodness it’s incredible. … It’s everything I wanted it to be and more.”
With movies like Red One, Evans was excited about what the future holds for his career. While some fans are holding out hope he’ll return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Evans told Us that he had no current plans to reprise his Captain America role.
“Those were wonderful times and [Captain America] is probably the dearest role to my heart. But it might be better just to let those times be those times,” he said before teasing his recent cameo as Johnny Storm in Deadpool & Wolverine. “It was so great. I love that role. I have a lot of love in my heart for Johnny Storm and so getting that call from Ryan [Reynolds] — I would do anything for Ryan — but getting to yell “Flame on” again was just really special. I really loved every second of it.”
