Taking place Nov. 21 to Dec. 1 with raffles benefiting the organization’s charity work
Sebasticook Valley Federal Credit Union will participate in charity organization Anah Shriners’ Feztival of Trees event held at 1404 Broadway in Bangor. The annual event will showcase more than 60 trees decorated for the holidays accompanied by themed gifts, with the opportunity to enter to win the trees and gifts. As this year’s tree theme is Christmas dinner, Sebasticook Valley FCU’s tree gifts include a four-piece dining room table and chairs, place settings, glassware, and more.
Funds raised by the raffles will benefit the Anah Shrine, enabling the temple’s charitable endeavors, such as supporting its national philanthropy designed to help children in need. In addition to the tree and gift raffles, attendees can get a photo taken with Santa (cost by donation), participate in a cash raffle (with the chance to win up to $2,500) and enjoy refreshments.
“We’re happy to once again participate in the Anah Shriners’ Feztival of Trees, which aligns well with the credit union’s focus on community,” said Jim Lemieux, president of Sebasticook Valley Federal Credit Union. “This event is a great way to celebrate the holiday season while contributing to the Anah Shrine’s charitable work. We’re excited about our Christmas dinner-themed tree and gifts, and we look forward to joining the community and seeing what surprises guests walk away with!”
The event is open to the public, with a $2 admission cost for adults and free admission for children under 12. Additional updates can be found on the Anah Shriners’ Facebook page.
