Police detour traffic on outer Union Street in Glenburn

Police are diverting traffic on outer Union Street as an investigation on Route 222 in Glenburn is underway.

Traffic is being diverted to MerryMan Road and Grogan Road as Penobscot County Sheriffs respond to an “active situation” on Route 222, according to a Facebook post.

Officials are on scene and are working to minimize any risk to the public. Travelers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
