A stretch of Union Street near downtown Bangor is closed as police investigate a pedestrian-car collision.
Union Street will be closed from Sanford to High streets during the investigation, according to an alert from the city.
Bangor police spokesperson Sgt. Jason McAmbley said Tuesday morning that commuters should take an alternative route.
The closure is expected to last several hours.
