Patrick Mahomes is honing his hairstyling skills before welcoming his second daughter with his wife, Brittany Mahomes.
Brittany, 29, shared an adorable snap of her husband braiding their daughter Sterling’s hair via her Instagram Story on Monday, December 2. “@patrickmahomes crushing his braiding skills 
,” she captioned the photo, which showed Patrick’s hands holding up the 3-year-old’s ponytail to show off his work.
Patrick, 29, reposted the braiding pic via his own Instagram Story on Monday.
The high school sweethearts, who wed in 2022, also share 2-year-old son Bronze. Back in July, the couple announced they are expecting their third baby in a sweet Instagram video featuring their kids holding up sonogram photos. “Round three, here we come

That same month, Brittany and Patrick shared they are expecting a baby girl at a sex reveal party for family and friends.
Ahead of their baby’s arrival, Patrick revealed that he’s not interested in expanding their family beyond three kids. “I’m done, I’ll say that,” the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback told reporters at the team’s training camp in July. “I said three and I’m done.”
He went on to call Brittany’s pregnancy “awesome,” as he “always wanted to have kids young.” He added: “I got to grow up in a locker room and it made such an impact in my life. We’re on our third kid now … Brittany does a great job of doing that and we still go out and enjoy our life.”
In addition to preparing to become the parents of three, Brittany and Patrick are also enjoying their final months as a family of four. “Sterling starts soccer tomorrow and she’s gonna be the brightest one out there let me tell ya ,” Brittany captioned Instagram Story pics of Sterling’s hot pink soccer gear in July.
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ Kids Have Their Own Christmas Trees
Sterling is following in her mom’s soccer footsteps, as Brittany previously played forward for the Icelandic club UMF Afturelding and is a co-owner of the National Women’s Soccer League team the Kansas City Current.
Brittany and the kids have cheered on Patrick from the sidelines at several Chiefs games this season. Patrick gave Sterling a special shout-out during the Chiefs’ October 7 game against the New Orleans Saints, stating into an ESPN camera, “Hey, Sterling, go to bed!”
Last month, Brittany and Patrick celebrated Bronze’s 2nd birthday with a golf-themed party. “Teeing up for Two!,” Brittany captioned an Instagram video from her son’s big day, which was held at a kids’ indoor playground.
Matching with the party’s neutral color scheme, the couple and the Mahomes kids all rocked matching tan sports jerseys featuring Bronze’s name and the number two.
