Wheel of Fortune fans are falling in love with Vanna White’s son, Nikko, after the 30-year-old joined his mom in a sweet social media video.
The TV personality, 67, got a cooking lesson from her son in a Monday, December 2, Instagram upload. “First of all, I am not a good cook. But fortunately, my son, Nikko, is,” White said while standing next to Nikko in her kitchen. “So, he’s gonna make one of my favorite dishes. We call it ‘Uncle Roy’s chicken’ because when we were back east in New York, he made that and I fell in love with it. And Nikko learned how to make it and he does it just as good as Uncle Roy.”
While prepping the ingredients, Nikko showed his mom how to properly peel ginger with a spoon instead of a potato peeler. The duo also tried out different ways to not cry while cutting onions, with Nikko sporting a pair of sunglasses and White chewing a piece of gum.
After assembling the dish at the stove and putting it in the oven to cook, Nikko completed the final step in the recipe, much to his mom’s displeasure. “I was so caught up in the moment, we forgot to salt it. So, we’re gonna add a little salt,” he stated. “This is Vanna’s least favorite part because she does not like salt. So, close your eyes, mom.”

Taking a bite, Nikko joked that the dish is “terrible” and that White was “not gonna like it.” Not fooled by her son’s sarcasm, White happily enjoyed their finished product. “We did it,” she exclaimed before embracing Nikko for a hug. The end of the video featured a screenshot of the full Uncle Roy’s chicken recipe.
Fans took to the comments of White’s post to praise both her and Nikko. “Vanna your son is adorable and handsome!!!” one Instagram user wrote. “You look beautiful as always !!” Another fan commented, “Vanna where have you been hiding Nikko? He’s GORGEOUS 
.”
One fan tried to set up Nikko with their child, writing, “If your son is free my daughter is also. Lol they can cook together 
,” while another stated that Nikko was both “handsome and a great cook!”

White shares Nikko and her daughter, Gigi, 27, with her ex-husband, George Santo Pietro. Rather than following his mom into the entertainment industry, Nikko went on to study agriculture at Oregon State University. According to his LinkedIn profile, Nikko has worked as a real estate agent for Mauricio Umansky’s The Agency since October 2023.

On social media, Nikko frequently shares videos of properties up for sale as well as clips and pics of himself and his mom. “Growing up with such a loving mother is the greatest blessing of my life,” he captioned an Instagram video of himself visiting White on the Wheel of Fortune set last month. “I am incredibly grateful for her & everything she does. Visiting the set of Wheel of Fortune and seeing where I built some of my core memories is always a beautiful experience.”
