Firefighters battled a blaze at a Hampden home Monday evening.
The fire broke out about 5:25 p.m. at a home on Northern Avenue, according to the union representing Hampden firefighters.
Crews made an “aggressive interior attack” and contained the fire to the upstairs.
The family was home at the time of the fire, and one person was taken to the hospital, CBS affiliate WABI reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
