Travis Kelce is extremely proud of girlfriend Taylor Swift after nearly two years on the road.
“Shout-out to Tay, and the unbelievable Eras tour has finally come to an end,” Travis, 35, said on the Wednesday, December 11, episode of his and brother Jason Kelce‘s “New Heights” podcast.
When Jason, 37, asked whether Travis knew how many shows Swift, 34, performed in total, he replied, “149 or 152. I forget which one it was. Somewhere in there. A f— ton is how I sum it up. It’s pretty crazy.”
Travis noted that over “10 million people” attended Swift’s tour.
Every Time Travis Kelce Supported Taylor Swift at Her ‘Eras Tour’ Concerts
“Shout-out to everybody that was a part of that show,” he continued. “Obviously, it’s her music, her tour and everything, but that was a full production, man. That thing was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people, but mostly because of Taylor.”
Swift kicked off her long-awaited tour in March 2023. During the North American part of the tour, Travis attended and attempted to make a move on his now-girlfriend.
“Well, I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Travis told Jason on their podcast in July 2023. “So I was a little butthurt, I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her. She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal. But it was an unbelievable show. Kansas City showed out.”
Two months later, Swift surprised the public when she started to support Travis at his Kansas City Chiefs games as the twosome had secretly started dating. She has remained a staple on the stands since then as the football team has gone on to win this year’s Super Bowl.
Despite the attention surrounding their relationship, Swift remained unbothered.
Celebrities Who Had the Time of Their Lives at Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said in her TIME 2023 Person of the Year interview in December 2023. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
After performing her last set of shows over the weekend, Swift reflected on the nearly two-year long venture, which sold over $2 billion in tickets.
“I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date — my beloved Eras Tour,” Swift said at the last concert in Vancouver on Sunday, December 8, according to a fan video shared via X.
Swift also offered a shout-out to her fans, adding, “We have toured the entire world … we have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.”
