Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber have kept fans — and Us — on their toes about whether they are pursuing a romance.
After accepting a proposal from Devin Strader on The Bachelorette season 21, Tran revealed during the live After the Final Rose episode in September that he called off their engagement while the show was airing. The following day, Tran was cast on season 33 of Dancing With the Stars.
As Tran began “healing” via dance, she struck up a connection with Farber. The pair sparked romance rumors later that month when Farber referred to Tran as “babe” in a TikTok posted to her account.
After being eliminated from the reality series during week 6, Tran suggested that their twosome were going to continue dancing — and spending time together. “Private rehearsals starting ASAP,” she wrote via TikTok in October.
As they continued to strap on their dancing shoes in their own time, Tran raised eyebrows when she admitted she was living under the same roof as Farber. “Sometimes I crash on his couch,” she told Us Weekly and other outlets at the DWTS season 33 finale, to which Farber quipped, “She needs to look for a house.”
Following months of speculation, Us confirmed in December that Tran and Farber are officially dating.

Farber showed off his loving moniker for Tran while they filmed a TikTok eating an ice cream cone. “Babe, can I have some?” Farber asked Tran who denied him a taste. “That is so rude.”
The Key to Their Chemistry
Farber and Tran often gushed over each other during press for the show. “He’s just such an amazing coach. Every week we just grow stronger and stronger and closer and closer,” Tran told Us on week 2. “I really feel like we’ve built such a great foundation.”
Tran noted that she “really” trusts Farber while placing a hand on his shoulder. “And that trust grows stronger every day,” she said, to which Farber replied, “Why are you touching me every time? I can’t say enough how proud I am.”
‘Steamy’ Couple
DWTS guest judge Gene Simmons leaned into the speculation when he called Tran and Farber “make a steamy couple.” The pair were unfazed by his comment.
“Listen, he’s an icon. It’s rock ‘n’ roll night. It’s Hair Metal Night,” Farber told Us. “And if you think icon, which icon would you think is bigger than Gene Simmons? No one. So to have him say that — I’ll take anything he says.”

Kissing the Girl — Or Not
Ahead of Disney Night on DWTS in October, Tran was seen in the pre-dance package asking Farber whether he was going to “kiss the girl” after they danced to “Kiss the Girl” from The Little Mermaid. Farber ultimately pressed a kiss to her forehead after the dance.
Tran later told Us that they chose to keep their routine as accurate to the Disney film as possible, noting that Princess Ariel and Prince Eric “don’t kiss.”
“We wanted to do the scene justice and do it the way the movie was,” she told Us. “We don’t want to make up stuff that didn’t happen in the movie, that’d be crazy.”
Carrie Ann Inaba Weighs In
DWTS judge Inaba noted in October that Farber and Tran “have a really great connection,” but clarified she didn’t mean to insinuate they were more than friends.
“When I talk about [their] chemistry, I don’t mean it in a sexual way. In partner dancing, it really does help to have a natural chemistry where you can feel your partner,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “You can kind of anticipate where they’re going because there’s just an ongoing connection.”
‘Private Rehearsals’ After ‘DWTS’ Elimination
Following their elimination on DWTS, Tran shared a TikTok in October of her knocking on Farber’s home. Farber opened the door and the duo embraced.
“When one door closes another door opens,” Tran lip synced in the clip. “We so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the ones that open for us.”
Fellow DWTS cast members took to the comments section to share their support. “I give this a 100. Happy for you two 
,” judge Derek Hough wrote, while Ezra Sosa commented, “I ship it.”
Sosa posted the same audio to his page, captioning the clip, “I’ve been [shipping] the wrong couple this whole time 
.” (Sosa was seemingly referring to DWTS season 33 couple Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko.)
Support from Jenn’s Brother
Tran and Farber got a stamp of approval from her brother, James. “When’s the wedding rehearsal? 
,” James commented on Tran’s Instagram montage of their DWTS moments.

Bachelor Nation Weighs In
Former Bachelorette and DWTS season 29 winner Kaitlyn Bristowe said during an October episode of her “Off the Vine” podcast that Tran and Farber are “for sure” dating.
Bristowe explained that she had recently been on the phone with Farber. “I was like, ‘Well are you just loving your partner and time with Jenn?’ He was like, ‘I really am,’” Bristowe recalled. “He was really hyping her up and I was like, ‘Is there flirty vibes?’ He goes, ‘It’s dancing, there’s always flirty vibes.’”
Coordinating Outfits
Tran and Farber were spotted in similar outfits while walking in Los Angeles in November and color-coordinated their looks at a farmer’s market later that month.

Sasha Helped ‘Ground’ Jenn
Tran credited Farber with helping her navigate the aftermath of her breakup. “He kept reminding me that it’s the stuff that’s not online that really matters, It’s your friends and family who know you the best that really matters,” she told People in November. “Right after the breakup, I was going through a lot of stuff being said online and stuff being spilled out, and I had to just turn my phone off.”
She continued, “Sasha really helped ground me and tell me that it’s my friends and family who really matter at the end of the day and everything’s going to blow over on social media and just keep doing me because, at the end of the day, I only have myself, right?”
Devin Enters the Chat
Strader shared a series of photos via Instagram in November and threw shade at Farber in the comments section. “Jenn found a great guy his name is Sasha,” one user wrote to which Strader replied, “That’s a girls [sic] name.”
Farber went on to set the record straight about the origins of his name. “The name Sasha is short for Alexander,” Farber wrote via his Instagram Story in November. “You know who else had the same name, Alexander the Great!!! FYI 
.”
‘BFFs for Life’
During an appearance on Tish Cyrus‘ “Sorry We’re Cyrus” podcast, Tran said she and Farber were “BFFs for life.” Cyrus subsequently referred to Farber as Tran’s boyfriend later in the episode. “Oh, God. If you say boyfriend, he’s going to freak out,” Tran quipped.
Living Together
After Tran said on the “Sorry We’re Cyrus” podcast that she was figuring out a place to live and “that’s probably Sasha’s couch right now,” she provided an update on her living situation.
“Sometimes I crash on his couch,” she told Us and other outlets after the November season finale of DWTS. “I’m also out of an apartment very soon and he has five bedrooms in [his] place.”
Farber noted that Tran would stay over at his home when they “had a lot of rehearsals” for DWTS.

Tran and Farber attended DWTS cohost Alfonso Ribeiro’s Thanksgiving gathering with his wife, Angela, and the pair were photographed eating by each other’s side. “Cutest Couple: Sasha and Jenn,” Angela wrote via Instagram.
The Cologne
Tran claimed during a December TikTok that Farber wore similar cologne to her former Bachelorette contestant Sam McKinney.
“I was like, ‘Oh, my God, I’m sniffing Sam M right now,’” Tran said. “Isn’t that crazy how, like, a cologne or a smell can just bring you back to a certain period of time? Because I was like, ‘That smells really familiar.’ Like, ‘Who do I know?’ And then it was just like, flashback after flashback.”

‘Remain Friends’
While all signs were pointing to dating, things got weird in December when Tran shared a lengthy Instagram tribute of her time on DWTS and praised Farber for helping “heal a wound you didn’t make.” At the time, Farber commented, “Ohhh , thank you , you blossomed into a beautiful dancer, hope we can remain friends and stay in contact ! 
.”
Hours later, Farber took to Instagram to share a sweet pic of Tran holding his dog. “She says I’ll take ruby for a walk , and when she says that, she means I’ll carry her everywhere 
,” he wrote, to which Tran commented, “I love ruby like a friend hope she stays in touch!”
Farber could just be trolling as fans are fixated on their status, but time will tell.

Questions were finally answered in December when a source exclusively told Us that “Jenn and Sasha are dating.”
