A man has been arrested in the Monday shooting of a woman in Portland.
Ayden Jordan, 21, of Portland has been charged with elevated aggravated assault, according to Brad Nadeau, a spokesperson for the Portland Police Department.
Jordan allegedly shot 23-year-old Destiny Bullock of South Portland, who police found about 4:42 p.m. suffering from a gunshot wound on Sanborn Street.
Bullock was taken to Maine Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition.
No additional information has been released.
