Police have released photographs of the suspect vehicle in a Bucksport hit-and-run.
A driver was heading east on Main Street in a black Jeep Cherokee on Sept. 26, 2024, when they hit a pedestrian crossing the street in a marked crosswalk, according to the Bucksport Police Department.
The 91-year-old woman was hit in front of MacLeod’s Restaurant.
The driver then continued onto Route 1 without stopping for the traffic lights, Bucksport police said Wednesday.
Police on Wednesday released three photos of the black Jeep Cherokee passing in front of Town Hall shortly after the hit-and-run.
The Jeep likely has damage to the front passenger side from striking the woman, according to police.
The crash remains under investigation.
