The famed television program Antiques Roadshow is finally coming to Maine.
After nearly 30 years on the air, the PBS show will be making a stop in Boothbay this summer.
The Antiques Roadshow tour will stop in Boothbay on Wednesday, June 18, according to PBS. Venue details have not been released as of Jan. 13.
To attend, you must have tickets, and tickets will not be sold at the door for the event. Information on how to enter the Antiques Roadshow ticket sweepstakes can be found on the PBS website. Two tickets will be awarded to each entrant that is chosen for the sweepstakes, with a limit of two tickets per household.
Tickets will be awarded to winners for free. Those who win tickets will be allowed to bring two items for appraisal. Ticket winners will be notified by Monday, April 7.
Some tickets may become available through local media sweepstakes.
The Boothbay event will start at 7:30 a.m., with 19 event time slots throughout the day ranging from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you are awarded a ticket, you must bring an item for appraisal. No spectators will be permitted at the event.
