A Bremen man died after a Monday evening crash on Interstate 95 in New Hampshire.
Martin Osier, 62, was driving a 2010 Toyota Camry on I-95, near exit 7 in Portsmouth, about 6:41 p.m. when he drifted onto the left shoulder, where he sideswiped a concrete barrier before continuing south with at least one partially deflated tire, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Osier went about two miles before he stopped in the travel lanes, where moments later a 2008 Subaru Legacy driven by 31-year-old Courtney Ramer of Dover, New Hampshire, rear-ended Osier, pushing his Toyota into the next lane, the state police said.
Then Osier was rear-ended again by a 2021 Dodge Durango driven by 56-year-old Colleen Leonard of Hanson, Massachusetts.
The crashes left the Toyota disabled and the Subaru and Dodge came to a rest on the left shoulder near the median, according to the state police.
Osier was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Ramer and Leonard also went to the hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries and released.
No charges have been filed.
The crash remains under investigation.
