Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are doing their best to cope in their own ways after calling it quits.
“Megan is moving forward independently and is not interested in revisiting the past,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Megan is focused on her pregnancy and not looking back. She is deeply hurt by how things ended but is focusing on healing.”
While Fox, 38, is not dwelling on the past, Kelly (real name Colson Baker) has been “struggling” over the breakup, the insider says, but also trying to channel “his energy into self-improvement.”
“He has been focusing on mental health and getting back in shape,” the insider explains. “He’s heartbroken but trying to move forward.”

Fox and Kelly, 34, quietly broke up in November 2024, shortly after the actress announced that she was pregnant with the pair’s first baby together. Fox is already mom to three sons: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8, whom she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green. Kelly, for his part, is father to daughter Casie, 15, whom he welcomed with ex Emma Cannon.
As Fox awaits the arrival of her and Kelly’s little one, the Transformers star is putting the baby’s needs and her wellbeing first, with the insider telling Us that Fox is “taking extra care of herself and focusing on a healthy pregnancy” by “avoiding stress and prioritizing her mental and emotional health.”
While Fox and Kelly have had an on-and-off relationship over the past few years, rekindling their romance doesn’t look likely this time around.
“MGK would like to reconcile, but Megan is firm in her decision to move on,” the insider claims. “She does not see a future with him anymore. She doesn’t want to put herself in the same position again with him anymore. She wants to break the cycle.”
Fox and Kelly connected in 2020 after working together on the film Midnight in the Switchgrass. Two years later, the musician proposed. During their engagement, Kelly and Fox broke up and got back together several times.
In November 2023, Fox revealed that she suffered a pregnancy loss that took a toll on her and Kelly’s relationship.
“I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately and together and apart,” Fox said in an interview with Good Morning America. “Trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’”
According to the source, even though Fox and Kelly are no longer a couple, their baby is the “greatest gift” they still share.

“She believes that while they may not have been meant to be together, she was meant to bring his child into the world. Her children are her greatest blessing,” said the source. “She is looking ahead with excitement, ready to welcome her baby and focus on the future.”
And while Fox’s relationship with one ex has come to an end, her other ex, Green, continues to support her. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum exclusively gave Us an update on how she was doing as she navigates “an incredibly tough time.”
“She’s an amazing mother, though. She loves her kids,” Green told Us on Wednesday, February 6. “We’re so excited for the new one to be born.”
