If you’re looking for a one-stop resource to help navigate this year’s Maine high school basketball tournament, you’ve come to the right place.
Welcome to the BDN’s guide to the 2025 Maine high school basketball tournament, where you can stay up on the schedules, scores, highlights and brackets.
The action has already started with play-in games at gyms around the state, and will head to the major venues in Bangor, Augusta and Portland starting Friday, Feb. 14. The tournament will wrap up with state championship games on Feb. 28 and March 1.
The BDN sports team will be along for the ride. You can keep up with our game coverage on the BDN site, or on social media. We’ll be looking for the moments that change games, the individual efforts that get fans on their feet and the team achievements that inspire our communities.
The BDN 2025 Maine High School Basketball Tournament page will be a hub for schedules, scores, game recaps, brackets, photos and more. We’re here to help navigate and celebrate another exciting, action-packed tourney season.
How can I find out who is playing?
The BDN site will have both boys and girls brackets for each region and class. You can follow along with our tournament brackets to see which teams still have a shot at a state championship.
Where can I find the schedule?
You can find the schedule for each day of the Maine high school basketball tournament on our schedule and scores page. Initial schedules are online now, and starting on Friday this page will be updated daily with the full schedule, including which teams are competing, where the game is being held and what time the contest is scheduled to start.
What’s the best way to find a game score?
Starting Friday, the fastest way to find a score will be to visit our schedule and scores page, which will be updated with the final score following each game. The brackets will be updated throughout the tournament as well. You can also follow the Bangor Daily News on Facebook to find our latest game coverage.
Where can I watch the games online?
The state championship games will be steamed on our website through a partnership with Maine Public. For the games you can’t attend in person, NFHS Network, WHOU and Maine Public are providing livestreaming options. See our guide to watching the tournament online to find out which games can be streamed where, and which ones require you to purchase a subscription.
