BANGOR, Maine — The Caribou girls are heading to the Class B state championship.
The Vikings took care of the Erskine Academy girls from South China Friday night in the north regional final, jumping out to a 22-5 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looking back.

Caribou won 61-46 and will now face the Biddeford Tigers in the Class B state title game. That game will be played on Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland.
Friday’s win was the 15th straight for Caribou this season.

Liv Adams and Madelynn Deprey led the scoring for the Vikings with 18 points each. Caribou is the top seed in Class B North this year and Biddeford is the fourth ranked team in Class B South.
