A man and his infant daughter died after a Wednesday night crash in Lewiston.
Tyrell Willigar, 20, of Brunswick was driving a 2016 Toyota Corolla on Grove Street about 10:45 p.m. when he went off the road and hit a tree, according to the Lewiston Police Department.
Willigar died at the scene, police said Thursday.
His passengers, 20-year-old Adaysia Read and 7-month-old Kinsley Willigar, were critically injured. They were taken to Central Maine Medical Center before being transferred to Maine Medical Center in Portland, according to police.
Kinsley Willigar died Thursday morning, while Read remains in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation, but police said that speed was likely a factor.
