Leaked images of Newcastle United’s 2022/23 away kit have been released online.
The images have been reported on by The Times, with the kit in question said to be green and white, the colours of Saudi Arabia, who are the country whose public investment fund owns 80 per cent of Newcastle United currently.
The white strip has a green trim around the neck, green trim around the sleeves and the club crest and Castore logo are also green, with the design similar to that worn by Saudi Arabia in 2020 when their kit manufacturers were Nike.
And whilst the current Saudi kit is less similar to the leaked Newcastle kit, The Times suggest the change in colour will further strengthen the link between the North East club and their Middle East owners and will be seen as a move to increase shirt sales and interest in the side in the Gulf state.

Newcastle would also wear green and white for their 1999/2000 away kit. However, the design is very different to the images shown above.
