Arsenal’s record signing Nicolas Pepe has revealed that he has changed agent ahead of a potential summer move away.
The Ivorian joined the club for a record-fee of £72m in 2019, but has never lived up to the hefty price tag, and has fallen further and further down the pecking order since Mikel Arteta took over.
The Ivorian last started a Premier League game for the Gunners in October, during Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace, and has amassed just 175 minutes in the 28 games since.
As a result, he is widely expected to depart come the summer transfer window, and has fuelled the fire by announcing that he has changed agents, likely in the hope of getting a move when the transfer window opens.

Arsenal close in on Marquinhos deal
Meanwhile, the Gunners are closing in on a replacement winger in the form of Brazil youth star Marquinhos, who is set to sign for Mikel Arteta’s side for a fee of around 3.5m euros.
It is the second time that Arsenal have trodden this path, with Gabriel Martinelli shooting to stardom following a move from Brazilian side Ituano to north London in the same summer that Pepe joined.
Brazilian attacker Marquinhos set to become Arsenal’s first summer signing. Deal has been agreed with Sao Paulo.
This move will not have an impact on Arsenal’s main summer transfer plans.

Should their latest addition prove anything as promising as Martinelli, the Gunners will have done some more very shrewd business in the Brazilian market.
