Liverpool have, on Friday afternoon, been afforded an altogether timely double boost on the personnel front.
The Reds, of course, are currently in the midst of their final preparations for the final fixture of the European campaign.
With hopes intact of a spectacular cup treble, Jurgen Klopp and co. have made the trip to Paris, for a Champions League showpiece clash with Spanish champions Real Madrid.
In the buildup to the Stade de France fixture, though, all associated with Liverpool had long been left to sweat over the fitness of a pair of the club’s star performers.
The players in question? Thiago Alcantara.
Both midfielders have spent time on the sidelines of late, owing to muscular problems picked up during the closing weeks of what has proven an altogether gruelling season.
Earlier today, word that Thiago and Fabinho had travelled to the French capital with the rest of Jurgen Klopp’s squad was therefore met with widespread excitement on the part of the Reds faithful.

Whether either of Liverpool’s midfield stars would actually be available to feature from the off against Real Madrid, though, until this point, had remained unclear.
Speaking to the media on Friday evening, it therefore came as little surprise when the status of both players was put to boss Klopp.
And, in news which will come as music to the ears of Reds supporters the world over, the German went on to confirm that Thiago and Fabinho have returned to full training, and should therefore be ready to start on Saturday night.
Here’s Jurgen Klopp in his final pre-match press conference of the season, and he has some good news on Thiago and Fabinho:
“Looks good for both Thiago and Fabinho, Thiago trained yesterday with the team, Fabinho trained completely normal so we take it from there.”#LFC #UECL
