Liverpool players are unhappy with UEFA heading into the 2022 Champions League final, it has been reported.
The Reds will face off with Real Madrid at the Stade de France at 8 pm UK time on Saturday evening.
Madrid are the undisputed kings of Europe, winning a staggering 13 European Cups/Champions Leagues throughout their storied history.
Said total, which could become 14 this weekend, is nowhere close to being matched by any other side. AC Milan have seven Champions Leagues with Liverpool in 3rd spot with six.
Liverpool, though, have become one of the most dominant sides in Europe over the last several campaigns and are expected to prove a very stern test for the Merseysiders.
Now, ahead of the game, it has been revealed that Liverpool players are not happy with UEFA.
As per reports coming from the Daily Mail, Liverpool’s players are unhappy with UEFA over a directive that they must not celebrate on the pitch with their families if they win the Champions League final.
Furthermore, Liverpool’s ticket allocation for their families is far lower than Real Madrid’s. Liverpool’s family entourage has been capped at 382 for all players and staff:
