Tottenham and Ajax are finally expected to agree on a deal for Steven Bergwijn, according to De Telegraaf’s Mike Verweij.
Spurs and the Dutch club have been working on a deal which would see the winger return to the Eredivisie.
Bergwijn recently revealed that he was keen to leave north London in search of regular football.

It is understood that a fee of €22 million plus €3 million in bonuses is close to being agreed.
The Dutch champions have been working on a deal to sign the winger since January.
However, a fee was not agreed between the two clubs and Bergwijn made Spurs think twice about losing him with an incredible late brace against Leicester.
But having made just one league start since his heroics at the King Power back in late January, he is now looking to leave.
He has also become a key member of the Dutch national team and he will be desperate for regular football ahead of this winter’s World Cup.

Dutch manager Louis van Gaal has also expressed his desire for Bergwijn to join Ajax.
Van Gaal told De Telegraaf: “If it’s up to me, Steven Bergwijn will join Ajax as soon as possible.”
