The reason Mikel Arteta is growing frustrated with Arsenal has been revealed over the weekend.
According to the Daily Mail, Mikel Arteta is growing frustrated by Arsenal’s indecision in the transfer market.
Expanding on this, it is claimed that Arsenal are insisting that all major transactions are approved by the American ownership, which Arteta fears could cost them the chance to sign top transfer target Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City.
It is easy to see why Arteta may feel this way when looking at the Gunners’ attempt to land Jesus. The Brazilian was made available for transfer almost two months ago and Arsenal were quick to register their interest. However, they are yet to commit to meeting City’s £50m asking price or open talks over personal terms with the 25-year-old.
This has allowed the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham and Inter Milan to register their interest in the forward who, on paper, probably wishes to join said teams over Arsenal due to their ability to offer Champions League football.

Arsenal to miss out on Hickey?
Elsewhere on the Arsenal front, Brentford look to have stolen a march on Arsenal for Bologna full-back, Aaron Hickey.
Like Jesus, Hickey has been linked with the Gunners for some months and there was an expectation he would be signing for the north Londoners this summer.
Now though, Brentford are the side said to be showing the most interest.
