Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a £25 million deal for Yves Bissouma, according to the Times.
The midfielder is set to become Spurs’ third summer signing after Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic.
Antonio Conte has been given £150 million to spend and he wants Bissouma to be one of five further new arrivals this summer.
Bissouma medical scheduled this week
Bissouma is expected to undergo a medical with the north London club this week.
Several major clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa have all looked to sign him over the last year.
But Spurs appear to have moved the quickest this summer and have agreed a deal to sign him.
The Mali international will add to Spurs’ strong midfield options which include Oliver Skipp, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur.
Spurs also confident of Eriksen return
The report also adds that Antonio Conte’s side are quietly confident of re-signing Christian Eriksen.
The Dane enjoyed a hugely successful spell at Brentford last season.
He is available on a free transfer having only signed a six-month deal with the Bees.
The 28-year-old could become one of the four signings which Conte is still demanding.
Two defenders, a creative midfielder and a forward are also being targeted by Tottenham.
