Leeds United have reportedly offered around 20m euros for Paris Saint Germain’s 20 year old forward Arnaud Kalimuendo as they bid to reshape their frontline under Jesse Marsch.
The Yorkshire outfit survived in the top flight on a dramatic final day of the season, thanks to a stoppage time winner from Jack Harrison, and are already taking steps to try and make their 22/23 campaign a little less stressful for both them and their fanbase.
Marsch has already splashed out over £30m on RB Salzburg pair Brendan Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen, and look set to spend a further £10-12m on out-of-favour Bayern Munich midfielder Marc Roca, with the Spaniard close to joining the Elland Road side.

Now, they could be set to continue their outlay, with Marsch keen on a deal for Kalimuendo, who has spent the last two seasons on loans at RC Lens in Ligue 1. The 20-year-old netted 12 times in 34 French top flight appearances,
Preparing for departures
The additions, however exciting, come with one major caveat for Leeds fans. Both Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips seem set to leave the club this summer, robbing Leeds of arguably their two most important players.
Phillips is expected to join Manchester City, though no deal has yet been struck between the two clubs, whilst Raphinha could stay in the Premier League too, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea all showing interest. However, it seems as though the Brazilian is holding out hope for a Barcelona switch this summer.
In this light, it seems as though Leeds will need to do much more business than they have so far should they stave off the drop next season.
