Tottenham are leading the race to sign Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka, according to FootMercato.
Marseille are also in the race to sign the defender but are yet to receive the green light from their owners to make a move.
Spurs have been on the hunt for a left-sided central defender and Ndicka could be that player.
Ndicka targeted by Spurs and Marseille
The Frenchman really impressed for the German side as they won the Europa League last season.
He produced huge performances in the semi-final second-leg against West Ham and in the final against Rangers.
Meanwhile, Marseille also have a long-standing interest in him.
They have been waiting for the green light to make the move from their owners.
However, they have been warned to hurry up with Spurs now leading the race to sign him.
