Cristiano Ronaldo may be able to count on one less possible destination this summer as former Germany and Bayern Munich legendary goalkeeper Oliver Kahn dismissed the need for his services to be acquired.
Per reports from Kicker’s Frank Linkesch, Kahn has spoken fondly of Ronaldo but posited that Bayern would not be the right match for the Portuguese who are currently under the command of youthful tactician Julian Nagelsmann.

“As much as I appreciate Cristiano Ronaldo as one of the greatest: A transfer would not fit into our philosophy.”
Ronaldo shocked the footballing world recently when he requested that he be given the ability to leave Manchester United this summer despite the arrival of Erik ten Hag.
Immediately, Bayern was linked with possible interest in the 37-year-old all-time European goalscorer, and given the potential departure of star striker Robert Lewandowski, the need for a central striker must be viewed as a priority at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern already brought in Liverpool’s Sadio Mané earlier in the window, adding the Senegalese star to the attacking ranks along with Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sané, Kingsley Coman, and Thomas Müller, but none of the aforementioned are true central players.
This is in start contrast to bitter rivals Borussia Dortmund who have attacked the summer transfer window aggressively, bringing in eleven players in total to date, including two forwards in the vein of Sébastien Haller and German starlet Karim Adeyemi.
Should Bayern fail to secure a true central striker this summer to replace the unquestioned influence that Lewandowski has long possessed, the Bavarians could, for the first time in a long while, be under threat of not securing the top spot in the Bundesliga.
