Two in, three out? FC Barcelona could be forced into some changes to their squad this summer if they sign two players.
The Catalan giants have already brought in two new players in the form of Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie this summer, both of whom arrived on free transfers.
They do not appear to be done there on the transfer front, though.
Firstly, Barcelona, despite his contract running out at the end of June, appear to be trying to re-sign Ousmane Dembele to a fresh deal.
Secondly, Barcelona are in the race for Leeds United and Brazil winger, Raphinha. La Blaugrana are understood to be the winger’s preferred destination, but there is a struggle to agree a deal with Leeds due to Barca’s financial woes.
Regardless, should Barcelona re-sign Dembele and complete a move for Raphinha, they will reportedly have to sell three players.
According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the potential arrival of both the forwards could jeopardise the place of some of the existing players on the roster.
Memphis Depay is one among the players who could be forced out of Camp Nou should Barcelona decide to bring in both Dembele and Raphinha.
Alex Collado is another Barcelona ace whose future could be dependent on what happens with the Catalans’ pursuit of Dembele and Raphinha. And the third player who could be forced out of the club if the aforementioned signings go ahead as planned is Ez Abde.
