Police say they are investigating a “suspicious incident” in Cherryfield.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was reportedly called to a home in Cherryfield on Thursday around 9:20 p.m. for a “suspicious incident,” according to the spokesperson for the Maine State Police.
Maine State Police detectives from the Major Crimes Unit were called to assist.
Police say they do not believe there is a risk to the public.
