Baring all — and then some! Kim Kardashian, Kelly Ripa and more celebrities weren’t afraid to share a bit too much about their lives in 2022.
The Skims cofounder revealed some personal details about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson in addition to opening up about the lengths she’d go to in order to maintain her youthful skin. “If you told me that I literally had to eat poop every single day and I would look younger, I might,” the reality star told The New York Times in June. “I just might.”
The beauty mogul also got candid about her “pee anxiety” during a November episode of The Kardashians, telling the cameras that she travels with a kit in case she the need strikes on the road. “I travel with a cup in the backseat of the car with a Ziploc, wet wipes,” she explained, noting that her mother, Kris Jenner, wasn’t a fan of her methods. “My mom almost threw up when she drove me to Palm Springs. I bring a Thermos, and she was like, ‘I’m going to gag.’”
The Dancing With the Stars alum wasn’t the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan to speak out about their bodily functions this year. In another episode of the family’s Hulu series, Kendall Jenner revealed that she peed in an ice bucket in the backseat of a van on the way to the 2022 Met Gala.
Though the supermodel called the situation “mortifying” in the moment, she later said during a confessional interview that she had no regrets. “Best decision I ever made,” she quipped. “Because I don’t know what I would have done when I got inside.”
On the other end of the spectrum, some stars didn’t hold back about their sex lives. Megan Fox, who got engaged to Machine Gun Kelly in January, shared a few highly personal details about the couple’s intimate moments. In May, the Jennifer’s Body actress revealed that she and her fiancé made some on-the-fly alterations to her outfit so they could have some X-rated fun.
“Was this blue outfit expensive because we just cut a hole in the crotch so we could have sex,” Fox wrote in a text message seemingly to her stylist after the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. The reply she received read, “I hate you . I’ll fix it.”
In September 2021, the Transformers star got similarly NSFW when sharing snaps from one of her and Kelly’s getaways. “When I tell you that the table at this air bnb saw some things,” Fox wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of herself leaning against the furniture in question.
