A single ticketholder has won an estimated $754.6m (£623.4m) in the US Powerball jackpot but is yet to claim their prize.
The pot is the ninth-largest in US history after a winless streak since November allowed the sum to grow until Monday night’s win.
Washington state lottery officials said the ticket was sold in a department store in Auburn, 30 miles (48km) south of Seattle, on Sunday. It will receive a $50,000 (£41,000) bonus.
The six winning numbers were 5, 11, 22, 23, 69 and – finally – the Powerball 7.
Winners must claim within 180 days or risk losing their cash.
The extremely slim odds of winning the Powerball are one in 292.2 million.
The game is designed to draw vast numbers of players to build big cash prizes – although these often remain unclaimed.

Monday’s winner has two options: to choose a one-time payment of $407.2m (before tax), or opt for an annuity.
