Two suspects have appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who was fatally shot on his doorstep.
Neil Canney was seriously injured in an attack outside his house in Nairn Road, Greenock, Inverclyde, at around 1.15am on Tuesday 28 February.
The 37-year-old was taken by ambulance to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he died a short time later.
Jack Benson, 22, and Dale Russell, 28, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

The men made no plea to the murder charge when they appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday.
Both Benson, of Port Glasgow in Inverclyde, and Russell, of Wishaw in North Lanarkshire, were remanded in custody.
The pair are expected back in court within the next eight days.
