One lucky person has come forward as the winner of a £46.2m prize in Friday’s EuroMillions draw, the operator of the UK national lottery has said.
EuroMillions announced on Saturday that three tickets holders – from the UK, France and Switzerland – had matched the winning numbers to each take a third of the £138m jackpot.
The winning numbers were 03, 08, 18, 34 and 49 with Lucky Stars 03 and 07.
It is the first UK EuroMillions jackpot win of 2023, Camelot said.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, said: “This is absolutely incredible news and we’re delighted that we’ve received a claim.
“Our focus is now on supporting the ticket-holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing win.”
The ticket must now be validated and paid, after which the winner will decide whether to go public.
