Brett Harrison‘s software company Architect Financial Technologies will make use of artificial intelligence (AI), Bloomberg reported June 20.
Architect Financial intends to integrate its trading software with ChatGPT, allowing users to quickly produce code for advanced trading strategies.
The Former FTX US President told Bloomberg:
“We think we can greatly lower the barrier to entry to writing those kinds of strategies by using natural language prompts.”
The company intends to serve institutional clients such as hedge funds and asset managers, Harrison said, noting that Architect Financial aims to provide access to various markets, including but not limited to digital assets.
State of the industry
Bloomberg’s report notes that Harrison was not accused of wrongdoing in proceedings around FTX and FTX US, but that his firm nevertheless had some difficulties raising funds due to his ties to FTX. Architect raised $5 million in early 2023.
During his latest interview with Bloomberg, Harrison spoke about recent actions against Coinbase and Binance. He urged a “more incremental approach” and called current enforcement “a long, expensive path” toward regulatory clarity.
In a series of tweets on June 19, he commented on BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF filing, noting that the proposal intends to establish a surveillance sharing agreement with Nasdaq — possibly allowing it to succeed where others have failed.
