A man has been charged with murder after a woman’s body was found in a layby near the M1.
Derbyshire Constabulary have charged Darren Hall, 36, with the murder of Sarah Henshaw.
Her body was discovered in the early hours of Monday morning in a layby off the westbound carriageway of the A617, close to junction 29 of the motorway.
Her mother has paid tribute to her “incredibly kind” daughter.
In a statement she described Sarah as a “wonderful daughter and sister”.

“As a family, we are all devastated by her death. We miss her so much and will love her forever.”
The mother-of-two was last seen at her home in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, at around 9pm on Tuesday 20 June.
Hall will appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
A police spokesperson said Sarah’s family were being supported by specialist officers.
They added: “Officers remain keen to speak to anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of a blue Ford Transit van, registration beginning YP16, in the early hours of Wednesday 21 June around the area of J29 of the M1 and the A617 towards Chesterfield.”
