A Windham man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly threatened a game warden with a pistol.
Timothy Flick, 60, was charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, aggravated reckless conduct and obstructing government administration, according to Mark Latti, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
Flick was allegedly acting erratically while boating on Sebago Lake, near Point Sebago Campground in Casco, about 5:30 p.m., Latti said Monday afternoon.
When a game warden approached him, Flick allegedly pointed a pistol at the officer and threatened him, according to Latti.
The game warden kept his distance from Flick and kept others away from him until backup arrived from the Maine Warden Service and Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
After engaging in a dialog with him, sheriff’s deputies were able to arrest Flick without incident, Latti said.
Flick was taken to the Cumberland County Jail in Portland.
No additional information was released.
