There’s still no sign of a Windham man who went missing more than three months ago.
Alex Jackson, 33, was last seen on the afternoon of May 12 in Leeds. His phone powered down about 4:30 p.m. that day.
Jackson’s dog Hazel was found in North Yarmouth three days later wearing a different collar than she was last known to be wearing.
Since May, multiple law enforcement agencies searching air and ground have not found Jackson or his truck.
Windham Police Capt. Jason Andrews said not being able to pinpoint exactly where they should be searching has made efforts difficult.
“We continue to work through any information we receive, any leads we receive,” Andrews said. “It’s not for lack of desire, it’s just, it’s hard to initiate and coordinate a search when you don’t know where you’re supposed to be looking.”
Jackson is described as a white man, standing 5-foot-7, weighing 150 pounds and having brown hair and eyes. He has a tattoo of a cross on his right arm.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a hunter-style shirt and a ball cap.
His truck, a white 2008 Dodge Ram 3500, was towing an unloaded gooseneck trailer when he went missing.
Anyone with information about Jackson’s whereabouts can call the Windham Police Department at 207-893-2810.
