Eli Manning has always had a passion for football, but fatherhood is his No. 1 priority after welcoming four kids with wife Abby McGrew.
The college sweethearts, who tied the knot in 2008, share three daughters, Ava, Lucy and Caroline, and one son, Charlie. Nearly one year after his son’s birth, the former New York Giants quarterback retired from the NFL in January 2020 after 16 seasons.
Manning’s career step back came four years after his big brother Peyton Manning retired in 2016 from the NFL. The siblings have since chosen to focus on their respective families but often trade parenting tips. (Peyton and wife Ashley Thompson share a twin son and daughter Marshal and Mosley.)
“When we talk every week, we always talk about our kids,” Eli told Parents magazine in 2014. “We also talk about the activities the kids are doing or what new walker or toy we got them. We exchange advice and talk about what cartoons, food, snacks or treats that the kids like.”
